CHAC Training Programs

CHAC is a sought-after placement for Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) Trainees and Associates and Doctoral-level Clinical Psychology Interns and Practicum students.

Students learn within the context of providing services to youth and their families at local elementary, middle, and high school campuses. Although on hiatus since August 1, 2023, in the past, the program also included services to youth, adults, couples, and families at our in-house clinic.

All clinical work is conducted under the supervision of CHAC’s highly skilled and experienced clinical staff who mentor, supervise and train using various theories and modalities.

Trainees will receive individual and group supervision, and will gain new skills and knowledge by attending weekly didactic training and presentations.

In addition, CHAC offers a Bilingual Spanish Training program that is an integral part of the Spanish-speaking services provided by CHAC to members of our community. Throughout the training, interns will raise their proficiency in Spanish and learn the clinical use of the language. Supervision in Spanish is available.

CHAC's Doctoral Internship is accredited by the American Psychological Association.
